Only wooden stools?

When buying a given model of bar stool, pay attention to the material from which it was made. Most often, bar stools are made of wood or metal, but there are also plastic bar stools. Very often you can also find upholstered barstools, which have a soft seat, which certainly increases the comfort of use. Wooden bar stools very often have a more massive structure and wider legs, in contrast to metal or plastic bar stools.

In order for our chair to fulfill its function, it must first of all be comfortable. When placing a bar stool at a table or island, it is worth paying attention to the height of the table top and seat. The ideal distance between the table top and the seat should be about 30 centimeters. It should be remembered that the poorer the stool in accessories, the less comfortable. If you intend to spend more time on the bar stool than just a few minutes a day, it is worth investing in an upholstered stool, or equipped with other soft upholstery. Equally important are the armrests and foot supports that will keep the legs in one position. The contoured seat and high backrest will ensure comfort while eating a meal, and the chair with a swivel leg will allow for free coordination of movements.

Bar stools as an accessory

Bar stool fits perfectly into a living room with a kitchenette, where it is most often placed next to an island or a bar. Bar stools are perfect for arranging modern, elegant and loft interiors, where they constitute a specific border between rooms. Bar stool with strong color accents will give character and flavour to the interior. It is worth remembering, however, that bar stools, apart from their important visual impression, should also make a good impression when used.
