Black chrome and smoked glass
Base and frame are finished in black chrome — a plating that keeps the metallic sheen but in a dark tone, without the mirror glare of silver chrome. The shade is smoked glass: semi-transparent, so the bulbs show through, but muted enough that the light does not dazzle despite the exposed source.
Two G9 points — with the bulbs included
Inside are two G9 lamps, and — worth stressing — they come with the fitting. Together they give 780 lm at 7 W and 3000 K. That is warm white: light for reading in the evening and for atmosphere, not for eight hours of paperwork.
What the lamp does not do
NANCY is not dimmable and has no angle adjustment — it lights the way it stands. The energy efficiency class is F, which is normal for a decorative lamp with exposed G9 bulbs, but worth knowing before buying.
A warranty with one exclusion
The maker gives 5 years' warranty on the lamp but excludes replaceable light sources — the bulbs are consumables. That is a fair statement of the position and typical of fittings with replaceable lamps; just do not count on a G9 being replaced in year five.
