CONNOR is a cylindrical spotlight made for a single-circuit track. The matt black tube is 7 cm across and 10 cm long, and the whole fitting including the track adapter stands 13.5 cm tall. The inside of the tube is gold – not only decoration: a gold reflector warms the reflected light and keeps the switched-off fitting from reading as a black hole in the ceiling.
A system fitting, not a ceiling light
The spotlight has no base to screw to a ceiling – it clips into a track and draws its power from it. It fits Rendl single-circuit (1-phase) tracks; the three-circuit version is a separate product with a different adapter, so check which track is on your ceiling before ordering. Once clipped in, the fitting slides along the track to wherever you want it.
Aiming
The tube tilts through 90° and rotates through 350°, so the beam can be pointed at almost any spot within the track's reach – a worktop, a picture, a shop shelf, a staircase – and re-aimed later when the room changes.
Light source
The GU10 lampholder takes an LED bulb of up to 10 W running directly on 230 V – no transformer or driver is needed. The bulb is not included: output, colour temperature and beam angle are yours to choose for the job (a narrow beam to accent, a wide one to light a worktop). Dimming is possible, but only with a dimmable bulb and a suitable dimmer – the fitting itself contains no dimming electronics.
Where it works
Natural uses are kitchen worktops, hallways, stairs and shop display zones, plus accenting pictures and shelves. Several units on one track can each be aimed separately, which gives flexibility a single fixed ceiling fitting cannot.
