COSLAD LE62383 is a surface-mounted fitting shaped as a white cylinder 75 mm in diameter and 95 mm high. It mounts straight to the ceiling with no cut-out — a solution for concrete slabs, ceilings with little void above, and rooms with no suspended ceiling.

Light and colour

An integrated 13 W LED module is supplied, delivering 951 lm at 3000 K — a warm white, closer to a classic incandescent lamp than to daylight. That is enough for one fitting to light a stretch of worktop, a niche, a picture or an entrance area; for general room lighting several units in a rhythm are normally planned.

CRI above 90

The maker states a colour rendering index of CRI >90. That is above the usual level of domestic fittings (Ra 80): under this light the colours of wood, textiles, leather and food look closer to what we see by day. It matters wherever colour is judged — over a kitchen worktop, in a wardrobe, above a mirror, at a display.

Recessed source, limited glare

The module sits back inside the tube, in a white matt reflector. The light point is therefore not visible at a normal viewing angle and the flux leaves through the bottom of the fitting. The maker declares glare control by a UGR figure but does not publish its value on the datasheet.

Where it works

The aluminium body carries heat away from the module, which with LED fittings translates directly into diode life. IP20 restricts it to dry rooms — above a shower or in a splash zone a higher protection rating is needed. The small diameter means a row of these cylinders reads as a discreet rhythm rather than a line of large ceiling plates; a typical spacing for worktop lighting is 60–90 cm.
