The Anika 14327-16 is a ceiling light 70 cm across and only 7.7 cm deep — a large disc that barely drops below the ceiling line. Light comes out of a ring around the central white disc, so the perimeter glows while the middle stays matt. The body is white-lacquered metal, the cover white plastic.
Colour and brightness from the remote
The fitting runs in CCT mode: the light colour shifts continuously from 2700 K, a warm white close to an incandescent lamp, up to 5000 K daylight white. The supplied infrared remote has three direct-select buttons (3000 K, 4000 K, 5000 K), separate dim-up and dim-down keys, a 10% night light, a timer, and a synchronise function for when several of these fittings share a room. The memory function keeps the last setting, so switching on returns the light to your chosen scene rather than to the factory default.
How much light it actually delivers
Two figures appear on this fitting's data sheets and they are worth separating: 6600 lm is the flux of the LED board itself, while the effective luminaire output — what actually leaves the diffuser — is given by the manufacturer as 2900 lm. Plan the room around the second number. Total system draw is 60 W, of which 54 W goes to the LED board.
Installation and running
The fitting weighs 2.77 kg and mounts directly to the ceiling. The light source is built in permanently and cannot be replaced — when the board is spent the whole fitting is replaced, which at the rated LED life means many years of service but is worth knowing up front. The manufacturer also lists it as suitable for a series (two-gang) switch. It is intended for living spaces.
