The VT-ST20CCT is a solar-powered street luminaire from V-TAC in a black ABS and polycarbonate housing, designed for wall or pole mounting. The fixture has a built-in solar panel and battery, so it needs no mains connection. The light colour switches between 3000 K, 4000 K and 6000 K with a long press of the button on the housing.
Size and mounting
The housing measures 232×492.5×58 mm, and the manufacturer recommends an installation height of 3-5 m above ground. The set includes brackets for wall mounting as well as for a straight pole with a diameter of Ø40-60 mm or a curved pole with a diameter of Ø40-50 mm, so the same fixture fits different mounting structures. The tilt angle is adjusted by loosening the bracket screws, within a range of 20° in one direction and 10° in the other.
Brightness and weatherproofing
The luminaire draws 20 W and delivers a luminous flux of 3000 lm, which works out to an efficacy of 150 lm/W. The beam angle is 140°×70°, so it lights a wide, flat strip of ground rather than a narrow spot. The housing carries an IP65 rating, which allows outdoor mounting without extra rain protection.
Solar power and working modes
Power comes from a 12.5 W monocrystalline solar panel that charges a replaceable 18650 lithium battery rated 7.4 V and 5400 mAh in 6-7 hours. In mode A, the light switches on automatically after dark, rises to full brightness when motion is detected within 8 m, and dims to 5% after 20 seconds without motion - in this mode the battery lasts up to 60 hours of operation. Mode B holds 60% brightness for the first 5 hours before switching to mode A, and the maximum working time drops to 45 hours.
