OIR I is a slim garden bollard 65 cm tall and just 9 cm wide — black lacquered aluminium with a polycarbonate diffuser. The narrow profile means that along a path or beside a door it marks the way rather than drawing the eye in daylight.

This is the thing to know before buying. The fitting has an ordinary E27 thread, but the manufacturer's data sheet states the maximum power as "10W only LED" — it permits LED lamps only, up to 10 W. A halogen or traditional bulb at the 40–60 W typical for E27 is outside specification: the housing is narrow and sheds heat poorly, and the diffuser is PC plastic, which a hot filament can distort or yellow.

No bulb in the box — and that is an advantage

What ships is the fitting alone, with no light source. That sounds like a gap, but in practice it hands you the choice: you decide the colour temperature (2700 K for a warm, homely path or 4000 K for a crisper look), the output, and whether the lamp is dimmable. The lamp is user-replaceable, so when it fails you change a bulb rather than the whole bollard — unlike an integrated-LED fitting. A decent 10 W E27 LED gives roughly what a 60–75 W incandescent used to; along a path that is more than enough.

IP44 — for the sheltered part of a garden

IP44 means resistance to splashing water from any direction and to solid objects from 1 mm up. That covers rain and watering, but not a direct hose jet or standing water — IP65 fittings are for that. Protection class I requires an earth conductor, so the installation belongs to an electrician.

The mounting kit is included

That is unusual in this category: with most garden bollards the anchor and screws are bought separately. Here the mounting kit is part of the package, and the mounting method is direct fixing to the base. The bollard weighs 1.46 kg (1.51 kg with packaging) and the carton is 12 × 12 × 66.4 cm.
