Nowodvorski: lighting designed and made in Poland

Nowodvorski is a Polish lighting brand based in Częstochowa. The company stresses that it designs and manufactures its lighting in Poland, with its own machine park and a production and logistics centre in Częstochowa and Siemianowice Śląskie, and that every fitting is the work of designers and lighting engineers. Its lights are made for homes, offices and public spaces, and the range spans indoor and outdoor lighting, light sources and track systems.

From industrial to japandi

The maker organises its collections by style: modern, industrial, Scandinavian, japandi, classic and art deco. Several of its series are broad families you can furnish a whole home with. FOURTY covers pendants, wall lights, surface-mounted spots and ceiling lights. EYE brings adjustable spotlights together with wall, pendant and floor lights. MONO combines spots, spot bars and trimless downlights with floor, table and wall lamps. The modular CAMELEON system is a world of its own.

Nowodvorski at Lunares

  • Pendant lights, wall lights, flush and ceiling lights for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, plus chandeliers, floor lamps and table lamps.
  • The CAMELEON system – shades, suspensions with lampholders and ceiling canopies that you combine into a pendant of your own design.
  • Spotlights, downlights and surface-mounted downlights, including the EYE, MONO and FOURTY series.
  • Track lighting – single-circuit PROFILE, three-circuit CTLS and the low-voltage LVM and UT-LVM 48 V and NANO-LVM 24 V systems, with track spotlights, connectors and power feeds.
  • Outdoor lighting – outdoor wall and ceiling lights, some with motion sensors, PATHWAY bollards and garden lanterns, and glowing CUMULUS spheres and cubes.
  • Picture lights and light bulbs, such as the CEZANNE picture lights and LED bulbs.

Before you buy

  • Lamp cap and wattage. Many fittings take a replaceable GU10, E27 or G9 lamp. The maker states a maximum wattage, often with the note that only LED lamps are allowed, so check the product page before you choose a bulb.
  • Track system. A spotlight has to match its track: a PROFILE fitting will not work on LVM, and vice versa. Low-voltage systems also need a driver.
  • IP rating. Under a canopy, IP44 is usually enough; on an exposed wall or in the garden, go for IP54 or IP65.
  • CAMELEON. The shade's product page tells you which suspension and lampholder it works with.
