Nowodvorski EYE S 6836 black surface-mounted ceiling light GU10, 10 cm

Nowodvorski EYE S 6836 is a black surface-mounted ceiling light with a short cylindrical housing in painted steel. Its light opening faces downwards, leaving a continuous metal surface visible around the sides. This is the 10 cm-high version in the manufacturer's P013 RAL 9005 black finish.

A compact cylinder below the ceiling

The housing measures 5.5 cm across and mounts directly to the supporting surface. Allow for its full 10 cm projection when planning the ceiling: this is an exposed cylinder, not a recessed fitting that sits within the ceiling plane. Separate units can form a lighting layout without long suspended drops. Choose their number and spacing in relation to the room dimensions and the lamps you intend to fit.

The plain geometry works with modern and minimalist interiors, while painted steel and restrained detailing also suit industrial or loft schemes. In a living room, bedroom, kitchen or hallway, it can be one element of a planned ceiling-lighting arrangement. A single light point does not, by itself, establish that the entire room will receive enough light.

Choose the GU10 lamp separately

There is one fitting for a replaceable GU10 R50 lamp. No lamp is supplied. The manufacturer permits LED lamps only, with a maximum power of 10 W. This figure is the permitted lamp rating rather than a fixed power consumption for the fitting.

Colour temperature, light output and beam angle depend on the lamp purchased. Select these characteristics for the particular area being lit, especially when using several cylinders together. When the lamp reaches the end of its life, it can be replaced without replacing the steel housing.

Connection and surface care

The fitting is intended for indoor use on a 220–230 V supply. Have this Class I light connected by a suitably qualified person. Disconnect the supply and let the fitting cool before cleaning. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth, keep moisture away from electrical connections and allow it to dry completely before switching it on again.
