Two light colours in one fitting
This model runs at two colour temperatures, 3000 K and 4000 K, and the manufacturer quotes a separate output for each — 1363 lm at 3000 K and 1427 lm at 4000 K. Warm white suits a dining table, neutral suits a worktop or an office. That is a practical distinction in a 143 cm fitting, which usually hangs where people both eat and work. Colour rendering is CRI 80, the beam is 120°, and the fitting is not dimmable — a dimmed circuit needs a different model.
A silicone shade — unusual material, specific reason
The shade is neither glass nor polycarbonate but silicone. The material is flexible and completely matt, so it diffuses light without glare and without the risk of cracking in transit or during installation — a real advantage on a fitting over a metre long. The result is an even line of light in which individual diodes cannot be picked out, even looking straight up at it.
A drop from 64 to 304 cm
The suspension adjusts across an unusually wide range: 64 cm to 304 cm. At its shortest the lamp sits just under the ceiling and behaves almost like a surface fitting; at its longest it reaches into double-height spaces and stairwells. The canopy is 18 cm across and only 4 cm high. The fitting weighs 1.6 kg, is protection class I (an earth conductor is required) and rated IP20, so dry interiors.
