The number of LEDs per meter of LED strip affects the uniformity of the light of the strip mounted in the LED profile. To achieve the sought-after effect of a uniform line of light, think about the densest possible LED strip, especially where the application is in a shallow LED profile, which may limit the dispersion of light emitted by the LEDs. The density of the tape also has a direct impact on the frequency of marked LED tape cutting locations. Tapes with a density of 60 LEDs per meter allow for a uniform line of light. To ensure that the light points are not visible, it is recommended to use an LED profile along with a suitable lampshade.
Requires the installation of a power supply
LED strips are powered by low, safe voltage. To connect them you need a power supply. The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the LED strip. 12V tapes need a power supply with 12V output voltage. Another important aspect is adequate power. The power of the power supply must be adapted to the power and length of the tape to be mounted. If a section of LED strip is 5m long, the power of the LED strip should be multiplied times 5. It's worth adding a 10% power reserve. We offer furniture, hermetic or slim power supplies: their choice depends on the place of installation.

Professional tapes, unlike Standard tapes, are characterized by a higher luminous flux, so that despite the use of the same power of LED tape, the light output of a professional tape can be up to half that of a Standard tape.
An additional advantage of using a professional tape is that the life of the tape is more than twice as long.
Another advantageous feature of professional tapes is their repeatability. The selection of LEDs is at a much higher level, so we can get a uniform color along the entire length of the tape (+- 10%).
