Clear glass changes the rules

The shade is colourless, so the bulb stays fully visible — and it, not the fitting, gives this light its character. That makes the choice of lamp part of the purchase: a decorative Edison-style bulb gives a warm, point-like glow and strong reflections in the glass, while an ordinary frosted lamp diffuses the light and softens the contrast. Clear glass also hides nothing about a badly chosen colour temperature, so a warm 2700 K usually works better here than cooler options.

A height of 120 cm

The stated overall height is 120 cm — the full drop including the suspension. Over a table that means checking how much remains once it is shortened: the bottom edge of the shade wants to sit roughly 70–80 cm above the surface so it does not block the view between people sitting opposite each other.

Construction

The frame is metal and the whole thing weighs 1.95 kg packed. The manufacturer states production in Poland and hand assembly. The E27 lampholder takes lamps of up to 60 W; the bulb is not supplied and the fitting is not dimmable. IP20 places it in dry interiors.
