Pendant Light V-TAC VT-7765 Black LED 12W 4000K 1280 lm 24 cm

The V-TAC VT-7765 is a round pendant shaped as a shallow drum 24 cm across and only 5 cm deep, hung on three wires below a black canopy. The whole fitting drops 50 cm from the ceiling. A black body with a white diffuser underneath gives a contrast that works over a table, a kitchen island, or in a row above a bar counter.

How much light, and what colour

The integrated SMD LED module draws 12 W and delivers 1280 lm, so 105 lm/W. 4000 K is neutral white — cooler than the domestic 3000 K, without the bluish cast of 6500 K. That is the setting for kitchens and workspaces, where legibility matters more than mood. At 1280 lm a single fitting lights a zone rather than a whole room — over a longer worktop you would normally plan two or three in a row.

Light quality, unvarnished

Colour rendering is quoted as Ra 80+, which is adequate for utility spaces. The EPREL register, where the manufacturer files the data itself, adds two details: the R9 component (saturated red) is 12, and colour consistency is SDCM 6. The first means reds — tomatoes, wine, warm-toned wood — will look flat. The second means that several units mounted side by side may show visible differences in the shade of white. Worth knowing if a row above an island is planned.

Power and limits

The fitting runs straight off 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains — no driver needed. It is not dimmable, as its EPREL entry confirms, so wiring it to a dimmer will give no control and may damage the circuit. The light source is permanently built in and cannot be replaced; the manufacturer rates it at 20,000 hours. IP20 places the lamp in dry interiors, and the warranty is 2 years.
