A small pendant with plenty of drop

VT-10114 is a single pendant with a Ø 20 cm shade in clear acrylic on a chrome-finished steel structure. The drop reaches up to 195 cm, so the fitting suits not only a table but also tall rooms and a kitchen island in a house with a mezzanine — the installer trims the cable to the height needed.

The clear shade is a deliberate choice: it does not enclose the light but refracts and scatters it at the edges, so the fitting works both as a light point and as a decorative object that stays visible when switched off.

CRI 90 at 5 W — unusual in this class

The EU EPREL registration 1876719 declares 450 lm from 5 W (90 lm/W) for this model and, more importantly, a colour rendering index of Ra 90 with an R9 of 50. That level is rarely met in decorative fittings at this price; it means timber, fabrics and food keep their saturation under this light instead of going grey.

Two weaker figures from the same declaration are worth knowing. SDCM 6 is a wide colour-consistency ellipse: if you buy several units for one room, the whites may differ slightly between them. A power factor of 0.5 is low — irrelevant for a single 5 W fitting, but with a dozen on one circuit the apparent current runs well above the sum of the real powers.

Not dimmable

The manufacturer declares in the register that the fitting is not dimmable. Connecting it to a dimmer risks flicker, driver buzz and shortened electronics life — if the circuit is dimmed, choose another model. Measured flicker is Pst LM = 1 and the stroboscopic effect SVM = 0.4; running at full power those are ordinary figures for this class.

Installation and service

The fitting accepts 200–240 V at 50/60 Hz, carries IP20 and is intended for dry interiors only. The LED source is permanently built in and is not user-replaceable; declared switching endurance exceeds 15,000 cycles and the energy efficiency class is F. Net weight is 1.43 kg.
