PLISSART M is a pleated shade 50 cm across and 41 cm tall, brown outside and copper inside. The folds run radially from the top to the lower rim, so the form is not a smooth cone but a concertina — and it is the folds, not the colour, that decide how the lamp looks.
The copper interior changes the colour of the light
That is not decoration only. A copper-coloured inner surface reflects the lamp's light with a slight warm cast, so what falls on the table is noticeably warmer than the source itself. With a white interior the light would stay neutral; here even a cooler bulb takes on a friendlier tone. The pleats additionally break the reflection into many narrow bands rather than one even wash.
Mineral composite, not metal
The whole shade is made of mineral composite — a material that allows the crisp, sharp folds that could not be pressed into sheet metal, while keeping the weight sensible at 50 cm across. The surface is matt and uniform, without the sheen of lacquered metal.
Two sizes, four colours
PLISSART comes in size M (Ø 50 × 40 cm) and L (Ø 70 × 60 cm), in four colourways: three with a copper interior — brown, white and black — and one entirely silver. The M size suits a coffee table, a seating corner, or a single hang over a smaller dining table; L is a lamp for a large dining room.
