A cordless white table lamp

The V-TAC VT-1028-W, listed as SKU 10326 and EAN 3800170207110, is a rechargeable table lamp with an integrated LED. A slim white stem rises from a circular disc base and carries a conical pleated shade 115 mm across. At 370 mm tall it sits comfortably on a nightstand or a desk without claiming much surface. The body mixes plastic and metal and is finished entirely in white.

The built-in SMD module draws 1.5 W and delivers 150 lm, or 100 lm/W. Beam angle is 100° and CRI is 80+. Colour temperature can be set anywhere from 3000 K to 6000 K. A short tap on the top of the shade switches the lamp; holding the same point raises or lowers the brightness. The light source is not user-replaceable.

How it charges

A 1800 mAh lithium cell at 5 V DC powers the lamp. Charging uses a USB-C port at 5 V, 1 A. A one-metre cable is in the box; a mains adapter is not. The official sheet quotes about 4 hours to charge and 4–6 hours of use. IP20 keeps the lamp indoors, away from moisture. Warranty is two years. Markings include CE, EMC and RoHS. Packed gross weight is 0.94 kg.

Where it earns its place

One hundred and fifty lumens through a small shade is enough for reading in bed, for notes on a desk, or for a quiet pool of light on a living-room table. Once charged it needs no socket, so it can move from the bedroom to a study without trailing a cord. Beside the bed it works as a night lamp you switch with one fingertip. At a workstation it gives local light when the ceiling fitting is too far away. It is not an outdoor or bathroom product.

Look and materials

The pleated shade nods to a familiar bedside lamp, while the thin stem and flat base stay contemporary and spare. White sits easily in pale bedrooms, offices and simple modern rooms. When lit, the shade throws light downward and outward, and the stem remains a slim vertical line on the tabletop.
