BAUTA is a flush ceiling light 60 cm across and just 12 cm deep — a gold frame filled with crystal elements, mounted directly against the ceiling. Its integrated LED source delivers 2505 lm from 40 W at 3500 K, a colour that sits between warm and neutral white.

Crystal that does the work

The crystal here is not trim stuck onto a shade — it is what diffuses the output of the LED module. The result is light broken into many small reflections that animate the ceiling and walls instead of leaving a flat pool. The gold frame bounces part of that light back and reinforces the warm tone. The 3500 K colour temperature was chosen for this material: a cooler light would flatten the crystal, a warmer one would dull its sparkle.

Low profile, wide face

At 60 cm in diameter and 12 cm deep, BAUTA takes a lot of ceiling and almost no headroom. That suits rooms where a pendant would be wrong — flats with standard 250–270 cm ceilings, the space above a bed, hallways, and dining rooms where nothing should hang over the table. The large face lets a single fitting light a room of roughly 15–20 m².

Output and consumption

2505 lm from 40 W works out at about 63 lumens per watt — a normal figure for a decorative fitting, where some of the flux is deliberately held back by the crystal. The source is permanently built in and supplied with the luminaire, so there are no bulbs to choose and no mismatched colour temperatures to worry about. IP20 protection places it in dry rooms.

Installation

The fitting mounts straight onto the ceiling on a standard base and runs from a 230 V supply. Given the diameter, it is worth planning the supply point reasonably centrally in the room — with a disc this wide, being a handspan off centre already shows. The construction combines metal with crystal.
