GLAXI in its five-light version is five glass shades in different colours hung from a single black bar 65 cm long. The shades are clear, yellow, brown and grey — the set is deliberately mismatched, and the black bar pulls it together visually.

A lamp for a long table

Five points spread along the bar light not only the middle of the top but its ends too — the difference from a single pendant, which leaves the far ends of a longer table darker. A 65 cm bar suits a table for six to eight and a narrow kitchen island. The coloured shades organise the whole length of the table visually, marking out a dining zone in an open-plan living space.

Adjustable drop

The height is adjustable, with a total drop reaching 200 cm. Over a table the lower edges of the shades usually sit 70–80 cm above the top; higher and the lamp stops defining the zone, lower and it starts blocking the person opposite. The depth of the fitting is 32 cm.

GX53 sockets — not to be confused with GU10

Each of the five points takes a GX53 socket rated at a maximum of 9 W. GX53 is a flat disc module, pushed in and twisted — not a screw bulb and not GU10. Check the designation when buying lamps: with five points, getting it wrong means five modules that do not fit. No lamps are supplied.

Mounting

The set weighs 3.85 kg net, with a metal frame and glass shades. IP20 places it in dry rooms. The manufacturer covers it with a two-year warranty.
