Lens001D45-15W is an optical lens for the recessed Maytoni Dip downlights rated 15 W. The clear plastic disc is 45 mm across and 20.9 mm high, and its only job is to narrow the fitting's beam.
What it changes in the fitting
Dip 15 W downlights leave the factory with a 50° beam — wide, covering a fair part of a room. This lens narrows it to 15°, so the light lands on a distinctly smaller circle and works as an accent: over a picture, on a display shelf or on a section of wall.
The lens changes neither the power nor the colour of the light. The luminous flux stays the same; only the area it reaches changes, and the narrower the beam, the brighter the pool of light and the sharper the shadow edge.
What it fits and what is in the box
The part is fitted inside the luminaire, between the LED module and the front ring. The manufacturer intends it for Dip 15 W fittings; Dip downlights of other wattages and luminaires outside this series take lenses of other diameters, so check the article code of the fitting you own before buying.
The box holds the lens alone: it weighs 14 g, 23 g with packaging. No light source, driver or mounting hardware is included. Maytoni covers it with a five-year warranty.
