180015 recessed LED COB spot 7W 660lm 3000K CRI90 adjustable sandy white Zambelis

Zambelis 180015 is a recessed ceiling spot: an aluminium barrel 4 cm across and 10 cm long, set in a 6 cm trim, in sandy white. The barrel tilts through 90° and rotates through 355°, so once installed the light can be aimed anywhere from straight down to square out sideways.

Important: the driver is bought separately

This fitting does not run directly off 230 V mains. It is fed 20 V at 350 mA and needs an external LED driver, which is not included — it has to be ordered alongside. Zambelis names two: KGP7 (100–700 mA, 7 W, 2.5–20 V) for plain switching, and the OSRAM DALI driver 4062172151252 (150–700 mA, 10 W, 2.5–45 V) if the spot is to be dimmed. Either is fitted one per luminaire, passed through the ceiling opening. That is also why the fitting is protection class III (SELV) — it runs on safety extra-low voltage.

Gallery-grade light: CRI 90 and UGR below 15

At 7 W the fitting gives 660 lumens at 3000 K, but the figures that really separate it from cheaper spots are CRI 90 and UGR < 15. CRI 90 means faithful colour — paintings, fabric, wood and skin look as they do in daylight. A UGR under 15 is a very low glare rating: the diode is recessed deep in the barrel, so looking up you see the lit surface, not a bright point. The 36° beam concentrates the light on a chosen area — a picture, a shelf, a worktop. Colour consistency SDCM < 3 guarantees that several fittings side by side emit an identical shade.

Installation and durability figures

Installation needs a 4.5 cm cut-out; the 6 cm trim covers the edge. The manufacturer quotes L70B50 40,000 h lifetime, energy class E and a three-year warranty. IP20 keeps the spot in dry interiors.
