The ZAMBELIS S058-40 is a spotlight for 3-phase track: an aluminium cylinder 6 cm across and 13 cm high in matt white, carried on an adapter that clips into the track. The head rotates and tilts, so the direction of the light is set after mounting.
What the fitting needs to work
The spotlight is not fixed to the ceiling — it clips into a 3-phase track, which is not included. The manufacturer states outright that the fitting has no supply lead and needs neither a cutting hole nor any recess depth: installation comes down to clipping the adapter into an existing track, with no chasing and no junction box.
Power comes from the track: 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz, drawing 250 mA. Safety class II means no earth conductor has to be connected.
The light it gives
The built-in LED module delivers 1000 lm drawing 9 W, a little more than an old 60 W bulb — but gathered into a 40° cone. That kind of light picks out a section of a surface or a particular object rather than lighting a whole room, and how wide the pool falls depends on the height the track runs at.
3000 K is warm white, and Ra 90 means colours under this light look close to how they look by day, which matters wherever goods, fabric or a picture are being lit. Colour spread stays within SDCM under 2, so several spotlights on one track show the same shade of white.
The fitting cannot be dimmed and the built-in source cannot be replaced. The manufacturer quotes an L70B50 lifetime of 50,000 hours — about 46 years at three hours a day — and energy efficiency class E for the contained source.
Size and build
The body is aluminium finished in matt white. The cylinder is 6 cm across and 13 cm high, and the gross weight with packaging is 0.35 kg — a fitting you clip into the track one-handed.
