The Zambelis 22099 is a luminaire module for the 48 V magnetic system, not a stand-alone lamp: without a track and without a driver it will not light. The body is curved, measures 195 mm along the arc and carries the Sandy Black finish — a sandblasted black on aluminium. The light leaves through a deep louvre of pyramid cells that hides the diodes from a side view.
Which track it fits and what you have to buy with it
The manufacturer states one compatibility: the curved track with a 900 mm radius. It will not go into a straight section or into an arc of any other radius, because its own curvature has to meet the track's — that is the first thing to check when ordering.
Power arrives through magnetic contacts, the module has no connecting lead at all, and it needs neither a cut-out nor a void above the ceiling: it clips into the track and holds magnetically. Input voltage is 48 V and protection class III means an extra-low-voltage circuit — the system driver is required and is bought separately. Dimming runs on DALI, so a DALI controller belongs in the installation alongside the driver.
The light it gives
The module draws 8 W and delivers 780 lm — as much as a former 60 W bulb, but gathered into a 36° beam rather than spread around the room. 3000 K is warm white, the colour rendering index is Ra 80, and the manufacturer states colour spread between units as SDCM below 5, which shows as one consistent light colour when several modules sit on one track.
The pyramid louvre is what separates this fitting from a plain light bar: the diodes sit inside the cells, so walking under the track you do not look straight into the source. The manufacturer publishes no UGR figure.
Dimensions and build
The body measures 195 × 23 mm in plan and 45 mm in height, which is how far it projects below the track. The housing is aluminium with acrylic parts, and the gross weight with packaging is 0.2 kg.
IP20 intends the fitting for dry interiors only. The manufacturer gives a life of L70B50 30 000 h, energy class F and a five-year warranty.
