Aldex Stick Black L ceiling spotlight 81.5 cm black and gold G9 1067PL_G1_L

Stick Black L is a ceiling spotlight shaped as a slim metal tube that drops 81.5 cm from the ceiling. The body is polished and finished in black satin, and the last 20 cm is a movable gold tip that hides a G9 bulb. The tip tilts, so the light falls where you point it rather than only straight down.

How long the fitting is and how it hangs

From the ceiling to the end of the gold tip the fitting measures 81.5 cm. The manufacturer's drawing splits that into a round ceiling plate 5.5 cm across and 8 mm thick, a black tube 59.5 cm long and a tilting tip 20 cm long.

To see where the lamp will end, subtract 81.5 cm from your room height. This matters where people walk past: in a hallway or entrance the lower end should stay above head height.

What light it gives and which bulb fits

The fitting has one light point with a G9 socket, rated for an LED source of up to 5 W. The bulb is included, so the lamp works as soon as it is connected. For a replacement you need a G9 LED capsule of up to 5 W that fits inside the 2.2 cm tip — a wider bulb will not go into the tube even if the socket is right.

A single source of up to 5 W gives focused accent light, not light for the whole room. The manufacturer presents Stick as a lamp that lights one specific spot — a dressing table, a mirror or a chest of drawers in the bedroom.

The STICK series and combining several fittings

Stick Black L is the longest of the three ceiling lengths: next to it are the M version at 55 cm and the S version at 42 cm. The manufacturer intends them to be mounted singly, in a row of equal lengths or stepped with shorter ones, so above a chest of drawers or in a corner you can build a cluster of points at different heights.

The modern character comes from the shape itself: a straight, unadorned tube and the contrast of black and gold. The fitting suits the bedroom and a dressing table, the living and dining room, the hallway and corridor, as well as hotels and restaurants — anywhere an accent of light is needed rather than the main light.
