ASTRAL is a pendant lamp built from ten spherical glass shades, each 11 cm across. Most of every sphere is copper-tinted glass with a mirror finish, while the lower rim stays clear, so the light leaves downwards. The shades hang on separate cables gathered into one round ceiling cup.
How big it is and how it hangs
The cables are 110 cm long and the whole fitting measures up to 127 cm vertically — compare that range with your ceiling height and with how far down the lamp should reach over a table top. The canopy is 20 cm across and 5 cm high. The fitting weighs 3 kg, so the ceiling and the fixing have to carry that load.
On the manufacturer's technical drawing the cluster of shades takes up roughly 43 × 47.5 cm. The arrangement is not fixed: the tilt of each sphere is set with a plastic ring, so the shades can be drawn into a tight bunch or spread wider.
Light sources and power supply
The fitting has ten G4 sockets running on 12 V. The stated 20 W is the maximum rating of a single bulb, not the draw of the whole lamp — a full set means ten bulbs of up to 20 W each.
A 230 V/12 V transformer is included, so the lamp connects straight to a standard 230 V circuit and no separate driver has to be bought. Bulbs are not included and they have to be 12 V types — a 230 V G4 lamp does not belong here. The manufacturer recommends the G13035 LED capsule.
Finish and where to hang it
The shades are glass; the manufacturer calls it semi-coloured glass — the copper mirror covers the larger part of the sphere and the bottom rim stays colourless. Cables, shade holders and canopy have a silver, glossy finish.
The manufacturer intends ASTRAL for living and dining rooms, above a kitchen island and for hotel and restaurant interiors — places where the lamp hangs over a defined surface and works as a decorative element at the same time. The form is modern and rests on repeating one shape in a cluster.
