Bazar Bizar's Bowl Tray is a handmade teak wood bowl in a natural finish. Its recessed interior, uneven outline and two handles cut into the rim distinguish it from a flat serving tray. Use it for dry food or as an open container for small items.
A compact bowl with integrated handles
The overall measurements are 20 × 20 cm, with a height of 7 cm. Compare that footprint with the space available on your table or counter before choosing a position. These measurements describe the outside of the bowl, not its capacity. It is not a large tray for carrying several plates together.
The grip openings sit on opposite sides of the rim rather than projecting out as separate handles. Wood grain is visible across both the interior and the outer wall, so its natural pattern is as much a part of the appearance as its colour.
Dry food or bathroom storage
The manufacturer's food-contact guidance is limited to dry food. That distinction matters when choosing wooden serving ware: this bowl is not intended for soup, sauces or other wet dishes. It is unsuitable for the microwave, oven and dishwasher.
The manufacturer also identifies storage of bathroom items as a possible use. It can therefore work as an open container away from the dining table, without implying that the wood tolerates prolonged soaking. Objects shown in the lifestyle photographs demonstrate possible uses of the bowl.
Individual grain and changing colour
Made in Indonesia, the bowl combines handcrafting with a natural material. Expect differences in tone, grain and small details between pieces rather than an exact reproduction of the photographed pattern.
The organic edge and exposed grain suit rustic and boho accessories. The manufacturer recommends regular oiling or sealing to retain teak's original colour. Without that maintenance, the wood can gradually develop a silvery-grey patina, particularly when exposed to sunlight.
