The Bazar Bizar Gormandize in size L is a rectangular serving tray in natural teak from the Teak Root collection. A low raised rim with slightly rounded corners runs around the flat bed; the end grain shows on the short sides. The satin, non-gloss surface is warm honey brown, and the grain pattern differs from piece to piece.

Size and what fits

The tray is 30 × 18 cm and 2 cm high. Compare those 30 cm of length and 18 cm of width with the plates, boards and bowls you want to set on it, and with the shelf or counter where it will sit between meals. Two centimetres is the full extra height under whatever you place on top.

The rim goes all the way round, so food that shifts while you carry it stops at the edge. The manufacturer lists charcuterie and cheese, tapas, and breakfast brought to bed as intended uses.

Teak care

Bazar Bizar’s teak care: for deeper cleaning use a damp cloth with mild soap and do not soak the wood. Regular oiling or sealing keeps the original colour. Teak resists moisture better than many woods, but the maker still advises a dry setting to limit warping. That does not mean a dishwasher or a sink bath.
