BELL PLUS 2 is a two-light pendant on a bracket, with two conical 24 cm shades hung in a single line. The finish is grey beige on painted steel.

A bracket instead of a single point

The fitting does not hang from one cable — its two shades sit on a horizontal bracket spanning 38 cm, fixed to the ceiling at a single point. That answers the case where the ceiling has only one outlet but a longer worktop or table needs lighting: instead of cutting new routes, you get two spread points from one connection.

What the GX53 cap changes

GX53 is a flat bayonet holder in which the source is a disc about 25 mm deep rather than a bulb. The shade can therefore be shallow — 24 cm across by 24 cm high gives a slim cone instead of the tall dome an E27 lamp would require. GX53 sources are widely available in many colours and at powers up to 12 W, and changing one is a push and a quarter turn. The lamp is sold without light sources.

Adjustable height

The suspension reaches a maximum of 120 cm below the ceiling and is adjustable, so the fitting can be shortened to the room. Over a dining table the lower rim should sit about 75–85 cm above the top; over a kitchen island it can go higher, since no one sits opposite.

How it lights

The conical shades are closed above, so all the light goes downward, in two separate cones. That distribution lights the surface below well and leaves the rest of the room calmer, but it will not light a room on its own — plan a second source if this is the main fitting. Sigma states the model has no split switching: both shades come on together.

Colour and finish

Grey beige sits between a warm grey and sand — neutral enough not to compete with the wall colour, yet more definite than white, which disappears above a pale worktop. The body is painted steel, so the fitting is rigid and does not distort when adjusted. IP20 places it in dry interiors. The manufacturer gives a 4-year warranty.
