The 9601-E/B is an end feed β the part through which power enters a lighting track from its end. The manufacturer lists it for the Micro system and carries the same item code under Core11 as well. The housing is black polyamide and the contacts are a copper alloy.
How it mounts
The part snaps into the profile; there are no screws and no tools on the connector itself. The thin 6.9 mm section is what enters the track, and outside the profile a block of 19 Γ 10.2 mm section and 71 mm length holds the terminals.
Overall length is 140.5 mm and the weight is 29.9 g. Those 140.5 mm are what to add to the track length when planning a run: the feed takes up room at one of its ends.
What current it is rated for
The manufacturer gives a rated current and voltage of 10 A at 60 V DC. That is the ceiling the combined draw of every fitting on the supplied section of track has to stay under β a figure for the whole circuit behind this connector, not for one luminaire.
The connector does not replace a driver: the 60 V DC has to come from a separate system power supply, which Stucchi sells as its own item. The manufacturer lists this feed only against the Micro and Core11 profiles, so check the marking on the track you own before ordering.
