The Famlight Bacan Ceiling M19 is a flush ceiling light carrying eight amber glass globes on curved brushed brass arms. The arms spring from a round base plate screwed straight to the ceiling, so nothing hangs down — the whole body ends 21 cm below the ceiling.
How much ceiling it needs
The fitting measures 80 cm across and 21 cm deep, and the base plate covering the junction box is 20 cm across. Those are the measurements to compare with the free field of ceiling you have: the light draws a wide circle but reaches down so little that it fits a room with a low ceiling, or a walkway where a pendant would be in the way.
Glass and finish
Each of the eight globes is 14.5 cm across and hand blown, and the amber sits in the glass mass rather than on the surface — it runs through the full thickness of the wall and cannot be rubbed off. Hand work also means the globes differ slightly from one another in shape and in colour saturation.
Arms and base plate are finished in brushed brass. The manufacturer makes the whole fitting by hand in Poland.
Bulbs and light
The fitting takes eight E14 bulbs of up to 25 W each and none are supplied. A 25 W ceiling per socket means LED bulbs in practice, and they are what decides the colour of the light — the manufacturer quotes no luminous flux, because the chosen bulb determines it.
The glass is translucent, so the bulb shows inside every globe and its shape matters when you buy. The amber tint passes warmer light than clear glass, and eight points spread across 80 cm scatter it widely through the room instead of concentrating it under the fitting.
