FERNE Milane FMIK1277 garden sofa in Senza beige 120 cm

FERNE Milane FMIK1277 in Senza 7535C is a two-seat garden sofa, not a backless bench. Seat, back and both armrests are one shell, so two people sit side by side with support for the back and forearms. The official sheet lists 120 cm in length, 73.5 cm in width and 73.2 cm in height. Seat height is 38 cm, seat depth 45 cm, and the clear width between the arms is 102 cm. Maximum load is 220 kg.

How the shell is made

The piece is single-point injection moulded. Legs, sides and back are not bolted add-ons; they continue the same form. The surface is smooth and matt, matching the official “matte smooth” label. Senza is a warm sandy beige in the Core Collection, distinct from white S449, carbon 446U, agate gray 423U and earthy taupe 410C. The plastic is lighter than a wooden sofa of the same width and stiff enough to carry without taking the frame apart.

Where it belongs

The footprint suits a terrace, a garden or a gazebo. A depth of 73.5 cm and a length of 120 cm are too generous for a typical narrow balcony, so FMIK1277 sits better on a hard standing next to a low table or on its own as a conversation seat for two. You can slide it closer to the lawn for an afternoon and bring it back under cover when a long rain is coming. The catalogue marks the sofa as stackable, so several pieces can be nested for winter storage. It remains outdoor seating, not an upholstered living-room sofa.

Look and daily use

The outline is minimalist. Soft side bends and rounded shoulders form one shell with no stitching and no wood grain print. Senza beige steps back behind plants and a pale facade. The seat is firm, as monobloc furniture usually is; the maker designs comfort without a mandatory cushion, and any extra pad is the owner’s choice, not part of the box. The smooth bowl has no drainage holes, so rainwater is wiped off rather than left to run through a grate.

Buying the right code

FMIK1277-7535C is the sofa, not armchair FMIK777 and not chair FMIK667 from the same family. Milane also includes tables, but this record covers only the two-seater. FERNE makes the furniture in Poland. The catalogue does not split net and gross weight, so pack mass must not be guessed. Cushions, a cover and a table are not included. When building a set, keep the same Senza 7535C colour code; the other Milane shades look different in daylight.
