FOCUS LED TR019-2-10W4K-B is a spotlight for Maytoni's 48 V magnetic system: a matte black aluminium cylinder 5 cm across on a short stem and a flat magnetic adapter. The whole fitting stands 22.8 cm tall.

Which track it fits

The adapter is made for a 48 V magnetic track only — the fitting is offered up to the profile and held by the magnet. It cannot be put on a 230 V track, single-, two- or three-phase: it fits neither mechanically nor electrically.

The 48 V comes from the system's power supply wired into the track — the spotlight does not carry one. That is where protection class III comes from: the fitting runs on safety extra-low voltage. The adapter is 12 cm long and takes up that much track, worth comparing with the number of fittings you plan per run.

The light it gives and how to aim it

The head turns through 360 degrees on its axis and tilts through 90 degrees, so the beam can be re-aimed after installation without taking the fitting off the track. The beam angle is 24 degrees — the light lands as a defined circle on the surface you point it at rather than spreading around the room.

The LED module delivers 700 lumens at 4000 K, a neutral white without the yellow cast of a traditional bulb. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means colours under this light read almost as they do in daylight, which counts over a worktop, over merchandise in a shop and on a picture. The light source is permanently built in, draws 9 W and has no lamp holder, so the whole fitting is replaced at the end of its life. The spotlight cannot be dimmed.

Dimensions and build

The head cylinder alone is 13.6 cm long and 5 cm in diameter; with the stem and the adapter the fitting hangs 22.8 cm below the track — compare that with your ceiling height and with how low the track itself is suspended. The housing is aluminium finished in matte black, and the reflector sits deep inside the cylinder, so the diode does not shine straight into the eyes of someone standing under the track.
