FOCUS LED TR032-4-12WTW-S-DD2-W is a white aluminium spotlight for the Maytoni Exility 23 mm magnetic track system. The cylindrical head, 5.2 cm in diameter, hangs on a short arm below the adapter that fits into the track, and the LED sits deep inside a tube with a black interior, so the bright source is not visible from the side.

Which track it fits

The fitting runs on 48 V and is protection class III, meaning the safety extra-low voltage comes from the track system through its own power supply. It fits only the Exility 23 mm magnetic track and cannot be mounted on a 230 V single-phase or three-phase track, so check which system is already on the ceiling before buying.

The adapter is 19.3 cm long, and the whole fitting measures 19.4 cm from the track to the mouth of the head; the head alone is 12.5 cm. In the manufacturer's photos the head is tilted away from vertical, so the light can be aimed at a chosen object.

What light it gives

The integrated LED module draws 12 W and gives 950 lm, a little more than an old 60 W bulb, concentrated in a 36° beam. That angle lights a distinct area, such as a painting, a shelf or part of a display, rather than the whole room. A colour rendering index of CRI 90 means the colours of goods and materials look natural under it.

Colour temperature can be set from warm 2700 K to cool 6000 K, and brightness is controlled over the DALI-2 protocol. That requires a DALI-2 controller in the installation; an ordinary wall dimmer does not control this fitting. The light source is not replaced separately, as it is part of the fitting.

Where it works

The manufacturer intends the Focus LED series for accent lighting. In a shop, the adjustable colour temperature and CRI 90 let the light be matched to the goods on display, warmer for wood and textiles, cooler for metal and glass. The plain white tube without ornament is a modern, minimalist form; the series also comes in black.
