Italux Cali black bedside wall light LED 2.5 W 3000 K WL-21017-BL

Italux Cali WL-21017-BL is a black bedside wall light with a slender cylindrical head and a rectangular wall plate. Its aluminium body has a sandblasted black finish, not a sand-coloured coating. A small switch is visible near the bottom of the plate, while light emerges from the end of the tube rather than through a broad lampshade.

A separate light beside the bed

Italux identifies Cali as a bedside light. Its construction makes it an additional lighting point beside a resting area, rather than a large fitting intended to illuminate an entire room. Consider its 153 lm output when planning the other lights: this wall lamp should not be the bedroom's only light source.

The 3000 K colour temperature provides warm white light. When combining Cali with other fittings, compare their colour temperatures, especially if they will be switched on together. This version is not dimmable. Choose it with its fixed light output in mind rather than expecting to reduce the brightness later using a dimmer.

Included LED and wall placement

The 2.5 W LED light source is included. There is no need to choose a separate E27 or E14 bulb; the LED designation refers to the source used in this fitting. The manufacturer specifies a supply voltage of 220–240 V.

Wall mounting leaves the bedside table surface free. Before selecting a position, compare the available space with the manufacturer's measurements: width is 5.5 cm and length is 6 cm. Decide the position relative to the bed and headboard before arranging the electrical connection.

Restrained black geometry

The unadorned combination of rectangle and cylinder supports modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. The black plate stands out against a pale wall and is less prominent against a darker background. Cali is primarily suited to bedrooms and equivalent bedside areas in hotels, or as an additional light beside a resting place in a living room.
