Corado is a single-light pendant with a gold steel suspension and a transparent acrylic shade shaped like a capsule, covered in horizontal ribs and a fine diamond pattern. The shade hangs from a thin colourless cable under a round ceiling rose.

How big it is and how low it hangs

The shade itself is 15 cm across and 35 cm tall, and the manufacturer gives a total height of 140 cm — that is the reach of the light from the ceiling down with the suspension fully extended. A dining table top sits at 75 cm and a bar counter at 100–110 cm; the gap between that height and your ceiling decides how much of the 140 cm you will actually use.

At 15 cm across this is a point of light rather than room lighting — over a longer counter or table, shades like this are hung several in a row.

The light it gives

The built-in LED module draws 10 W and puts out 1050 lm at 3000 K, warm white with a yellowish cast, close to the light of a traditional bulb. The shade is transparent, so the lit element shows through the acrylic — the fitting reads as a distinct, concentrated point, and the ribs break the light up along their edges.

It is not dimmable: the brightness is fixed and a wall dimmer will not change it. The light source is built in permanently, so there is no socket and no bulb to buy or replace.

Construction and where it can be installed

The frame is steel in a gold finish — the rose, the stem and the rings around the shade — with transparent acrylic for the shade itself. Acrylic is lighter and less brittle than glass but scratches more easily, so a soft cloth with no scouring powder is what it takes to clean.

The light connects to a 230 V supply; the IP20 rating puts it in dry interiors rather than above a bath or shower. The manufacturer covers it with a five-year warranty.
