JACA CCT pendant lamp, white, 100 cm, Luces Exclusivas LE43514

JACA CCT is a pendant in the form of a closed ring 100 cm across, in a white finish. The ring profile is 6.5 cm tall and the diffuser runs along its inner edge. The luminaire hangs on three thin cables, one of which carries the cylindrical driver housing measuring 7.5 × 25.5 cm.

How large it is and how high to hang it

A ring 100 cm across is a large object: over a table it keeps its proportions from a top of roughly 100 cm wide upwards, while in a small room it will dominate the ceiling. Compare that diameter with the width of the place it is meant to hang over before settling on a size.

The manufacturer gives a total suspension height of 200 cm, measured from the ceiling to the lower edge of the ring; the cables are shortened during fitting. Over a dining table the lower edge usually ends up 70-80 cm above the top — the light then covers the whole surface without shining into the eyes of anyone seated.

How much light it gives and in what colour

The built-in LED module draws 60 W and delivers 4165 lm. That is the equivalent of five traditional 60 W bulbs spread around the circumference of the ring, which is enough light for general lighting rather than atmosphere alone.

The colour is tunable across 2700-6000 K: at the bottom of the scale the light is warm and slightly yellow, like an old incandescent bulb, and at the top it is cool and close to daylight. The same ring therefore serves dinner and desk work at the table. The LED module cannot be replaced — it is built in permanently.

Dimming and control

The manufacturer provides for dimming through an external dimmer or through the remote with the symbol LE43743, sold separately. Neither the dimmer nor the remote is included, so the means of control has to be ordered alongside the luminaire.

Build and where it may go

The body is aluminium, the diffuser acrylic, and the whole is white. The supply is 230 V, and the IP20 rating means dry interiors only — over a table, in a living room or a bedroom, not on a terrace and not in a shower zone.
