KOSTER Pro 1824GR LED park light 18.1 W, telescopic pole 236–336 cm, graphite – Norlys

KOSTER Pro 1824GR is a complete park light: a classic LED lantern with a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser, mounted on a telescopic pole with an inspection door. The lantern is cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016).

Height and what comes in the set

The set consists of a post-top lantern for a Ø50 mm spigot (art. 1823) and a lighting pole (art. 1273). The pole adjusts from 236 to 336 cm, so the height of the lantern can be matched to the setting, from a garden path to a park. The lantern alone measures 45 × 24.5 × 24 cm and weighs 2.86 kg.

The pole is fixed with three bolts through ø10.5 mm holes on a ø207 mm circle, spaced at 120°. Other accessories, such as the foundation or anchors, are sold separately by the manufacturer.

Light

The lantern draws 18.1 W and gives 1878 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The Ledil VSM lens spreads the light symmetrically around the post (IESNA type V), and a ULOR of 0% together with a BUG rating of B1-U1-G1 means no light escapes upwards, which matters near bedroom windows and wherever a dark sky counts. The LED light source is included.

Control is by DALI2 with the NightDim function, meaning the light can be dimmed during night hours; settings other than the factory ones are programmed by the manufacturer by arrangement.

Installation

The lantern is protection class I, so it needs a protective earth conductor. IP65 lets it stand outdoors without any cover, and its IK10 impact rating is the highest class on that scale. The terminal takes cable up to 5 × 4 mm² with a diameter of up to 12.5 mm. With an inrush current of 15 A, the manufacturer allows up to 18 fittings on one B 10 A breaker, 29 on B 16 A, 30 on C 10 A and 49 on C 16 A – the figure a circuit for a longer path is planned around.
