Italux Traversi RX Ceiling 170 is a surface-mounted linear LED fitting with a matt black housing and a pale strip along its underside. Aluminium and plastic form the long, rectangular body. Article PRD-5470-170-BK-830-SF is the 170 cm ceiling version with warm white 3000 K light, not the pendant version suspended on cables.

Allow space for the full length

The fitting is only 5.4 cm wide and 7 cm high, but its 170 cm length still needs a clear mounting position. Compare that measurement with the available ceiling space and the layout of the desk, work area or passage below. Choosing a shorter member of this family changes the actual length of the housing, so the different sizes should not be treated as interchangeable.

The straight sides and absence of decorative arms suit modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. Against a light ceiling, the black body remains a visible line rather than disappearing into the background. Warm light from an included LED source

The LED source is included. Italux specifies 53 W and 4800 lm; compare light output as well as physical length when choosing between variants. At 3000 K, the light is warm white rather than the neutral white of a 4000 K version. For reading or work over a desk, positioning and spacing must follow the surface being lit. Luminous flux alone does not establish illuminance at the worktop.

Check the control version before ordering

DALI and Switchdim are listed as made-to-order options, not as universal dimmer compatibility for the standard article. If dimming is required, confirm the appropriate version first. The supply is 230 V. IP20 provides no water protection, so installation conditions matter in utility areas. The manufacturer's stated warranty is five years.
