The Norlys Lillehammer 2265BL is an outdoor facade wall light shaped as a rectangular block of powder-coated cast aluminium in black (RAL 9005). It shines upwards only, in a very narrow 4° beam, so it draws a thin vertical line of light on the wall above the fitting.
Size and facade mounting
According to the manufacturer's drawing the fitting is 18.5 cm high and 8 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall. It is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm and weighs 1.6 kg. The housing is closed by clear safety glass with a silicone gasket, and the cable enters through an EPDM gland; IP65 and IK08 allow it to be mounted outdoors without any cover.
Connection is a job for an electrician. The fitting runs on 220–240 V and is protection class I, so it needs a protective earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 1.5 mm² and allow loop-through wiring, so a row of wall lights on a facade can be fed from one line. Norlys also states how many fittings one circuit breaker can take: B10A – 46, B16A – 74, C10A – 74, C16A – 119.
Light and control
The 2.8 W LED module produces 504 lm, but after the optic 13 lm leaves the fitting at a consumption of 4.5 W. That is intentional: the fitting does not light a path or an entrance, it accents the texture and height of the wall. 2700 K is a warm, slightly yellow light.
The driver is built in, and Norlys rates its life at 50,000 hours. Dimming works through a DALI-2 system — a DALI controller is needed, because an ordinary phase-cut dimmer cannot drive this interface.
Where it fits
Norlys designed it for lighting walls, facades and architectural details. Model 2265 is also available in aluminium, white and graphite.
