Lillehammer 2294GB is a box-shaped Norlys outdoor wall light, 18.5 cm tall, made of cast aluminium powder-coated in beige grey. The light source sits behind optical safety glass with a silicone gasket, and the cable enters through an EPDM gland.
How it lights
The fitting throws light one way only, downwards, in a narrow 4° beam. Norlys designed it for lighting wall surfaces and facades: rather than lighting up the surroundings, it lays a narrow strip of light on the wall below, picking out the texture of render, brick or cladding. ULOR is 0%, so no light escapes upwards towards windows and the sky. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellowish light, and CRI 80 renders the colours of the facade correctly.
The LED module and electronic driver are built in, so there is no lamp to buy; the fitting draws 4 W. It can be phase-dimmed, but only with a trailing-edge (TE) dimmer, the type rated for RC loads.
Installation and wiring
The light is 8 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall. It is fixed through two ø5 mm holes at 45 × 130 mm spacing. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow looping through to the next fitting with up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several lights on one wall can run from a single supply; the gland takes round cable of ø7–10.5 mm.
It is a protection class I fitting, so it needs an earth connection. IP65 allows mounting outdoors without a canopy, and IK08 means a housing with increased impact resistance.
