Lillehammer DC1587CS Rust-Colored Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS

NORLYS Lillehammer DC1587CS is an outdoor wall light in a rust-coloured finish, described by the manufacturer as Corten Steel. Its rectangular body is actually powder-coated cast aluminium, with clear safety glass over the light opening. The finish name should not be read as a claim that the housing is made of weathering steel or will develop a natural steel patina.

An upward accent for the wall

This version sends light upward only, with a 60° beam angle. It is intended to highlight walls and façades and can serve the same purpose on a wall beside a terrace or balcony. Check the surface above the fixture when deciding where to mount it: this is where the beam is directed, rather than onto paving immediately underneath. It should not be selected as a substitute for targeted ground lighting.

The integrated LED module uses 3.6 W and produces warm-white light at 3000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 115 lm. The separate figure of 532 lm describes the light source before the luminaire's optical losses, not the output of the finished wall light. Use the luminaire figure when planning the façade lighting.

Plan for an external 24 V supply

DC1587CS requires an external constant-voltage DC 24 V power supply; it must not be connected directly to 230 V mains. Its LED module supports dimming, but the supply and external control must be chosen as part of the installation design. This does not imply a built-in dimmer. Replacement of the LED light source is work for a professional service.

Dimensions and wall fixing

The housing is 18.5 cm high, 11 cm wide and 8 cm deep. Two 5 mm fixing holes use 45 × 130 mm spacing. Installation should be carried out by a qualified installer following the manufacturer's instructions. This version has an IP65 protection rating and IK08 impact resistance.

Plain surfaces and the absence of decorative arms support modern, minimalist and Scandinavian styling. The rust-coloured coating provides a finish to coordinate with the façade without implying the material behaviour of Corten steel.
