Lillehammer DC1587GR is an outdoor wall light shaped as a closed cuboid of 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm, cast in aluminium and powder-coated in graphite. Light leaves only along the top edge, through a clear safety-glass lens; every other face of the body is solid.
The power supply is a separate purchase
This is the 24 V DC version: the LED module needs an external, voltage-stabilised power supply, which is not included. Without one the fitting cannot be connected to a 230 V installation — that is the first item to budget alongside the price of the light itself, especially when several are going onto one facade.
Low voltage has another side to it: the fitting is protection class III, so it runs on safe voltage and needs no earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and looping further fittings through up to 2 × 1.5 mm²; the cable must have a round sheath 7–10.5 mm across.
How it lights
The LED module draws 3.6 W and produces 532 lm, but only 115 lm leaves the fitting through the narrow lens. That is deliberately little: Lillehammer does not light ground, it draws a 60° wedge of light up the wall. The upward light output ratio is 100 %, so there is nothing below the fitting — a path or a step needs a lamp of its own.
3000 K is warm white, colour rendering is Ra 80, and colour spread between units stays inside SDCM3, so several fittings side by side will glow in the same tone. The manufacturer intends it for wall surfaces, facades and architectural detail.
Operating conditions and mounting
IP65 means full dust protection and protection against water jets from any direction, so the fitting can go on an unsheltered wall. IK08 corresponds to an impact of 5 J, and the operating temperature range runs from −30 to +65 °C.
It fixes on two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm and weighs 1.57 kg. The light source is not a self-service item — the LED module is changed by a professional.
