Luces Exclusivas ALCALA LE41854 gold pendant light with glass shade, E27

ALCALA LE41854 by Luces Exclusivas is a single pendant light with a clear glass shade and a pronounced raised pattern resembling leaf veins. Gold-coloured metal forms the round ceiling canopy and the fitting above the shade. Its slender suspension keeps the textured glass in view rather than surrounding it with a large frame or several branching arms.

Planning the space above a table or island

The manufacturer lists a diameter of 13.5 cm, a height of 120 cm and a depth of 24 cm. When positioning the pendant above a dining table or kitchen island, compare these dimensions with the surface below and the distance from the ceiling. The narrow shade alone does not establish how bright the light will be or how much of the surface it will illuminate.

It can also be considered as an additional hanging accent in a living room or bedroom instead of a large central chandelier. Away from a tabletop, check the clearance beneath the shade so that it does not intrude into a walking route. The stated height is not confirmation that the suspension is adjustable.

Choose one E27 bulb separately

The fitting has one E27 socket for a light source rated at no more than 12 W. A bulb is not included. You therefore choose its lumen output and colour temperature separately, while staying within the fitting's power limit. E27 identifies the socket, not the brightness or colour of the light. The manufacturer specifies a 230 V supply.

Because the textured shade is clear rather than opaque, the appearance of the bulb matters as well as its light output. The glass pattern does not establish a particular light colour. Likewise, the 12 W maximum should not be read as a fixed energy consumption for the complete lamp regardless of the bulb fitted.

Gold details with patterned glass

The simple suspension and decorative relief can be paired with modern and modernist interior elements without removing the visible ornament. Gold-coloured details repeat at the ceiling and above the shade, while the glass texture remains the main decorative feature.
