GLITZER is a small table lamp made of two parts: a metal half-dome covered in tiny mirrors like a disco ball, and an opal, milky-white glass globe standing on top of it. The cable leaves the back of the base and carries a switch.
How big it is and where it stands
The base is 14 cm across and 6.5 cm high, and the whole lamp measures 18.4 cm — it fits on a narrow bedside table next to a book and an alarm clock, and on a windowsill it hides no window. The glass globe is 12 cm in diameter.
The lamp weighs 0.68 kg and is not height adjustable — the manufacturer gives the same figure as both minimum and maximum. It is intended for indoor use only.
The bulb and the switch
The holder takes a G9 cap rated at a maximum of 5 W, and no bulb is included. The manufacturer recommends its own G9 LED source of 3.5 W at 2700 K, warm light close to the old incandescent bulb.
Lucide lists the fitting as non-dimmable, so a wall dimmer will change nothing — brightness is settled once, by the choice of bulb. The switch sits within reach on the cable, so there is no reaching behind the lamp or under the top.
The light it gives and what it is made of
The globe is opal glass, milky on both faces, so it hides the bulb and spreads the light all around, with no direction and no hard point. This is mood and supplementary light, not light for reading small print.
The sparkle the lamp is named after comes from the base: the mirrors throw the globe's light in many directions at once, onto the table top and the wall. The base is metal, spray painted in a glossy silver; the glass is not clear and carries no cut facets.
