Lucide MAYA Japandi Table Lamp Black and Gold Cotton 26 cm 45509/81/30

Lucide MAYA 45509/81/30 is a table lamp with a black cylindrical cotton shade and a gold-coloured interior. Its slender metal stem rises from a flat circular base, leaving the woven shade as the main visual feature. Lucide identifies this black-and-gold version as Japandi.

Allow for the shade, not just the base

The lamp stands 50.5 cm high and its shade measures 26 cm in diameter. The shade itself is 20 cm tall, while the base is 17 cm across. When choosing a position on a sideboard, a bedside table or a table beside a sofa, check the full width of the shade rather than only the smaller footprint. Also compare the overall height with the clearance beneath any shelf.

MAYA has a fixed height and no directional head. Its plain outline and visible cotton weave suit a Japandi interior without introducing an elaborate silhouette. The black exterior and gold-coloured shade lining belong to the same finish; the gold is an accent within this black version, not a separate all-gold lamp.

Choose one E27 bulb separately

There is one E27 socket, and a bulb is not included. The maximum permitted bulb wattage is 40 W; a suitable LED bulb can also be used. Brightness and light colour therefore depend on the separately selected bulb rather than an integrated LED module. The cotton shade surrounds the bulb, and the manufacturer describes the distribution as diffuse light around the fixture.

A cable switch, without dimming

The plug-in cable is 180 cm long and has an on/off switch. Check the distance to your socket and where the switch will remain accessible before placing the lamp. MAYA can provide supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom, office or study, but it is not an adjustable task lamp. The fixture is non-dimmable: fitting a dimmable bulb alone does not give it brightness control. Use it indoors and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
