Dorian is a spotlight for the single-phase Lucide TRACK system: a round head in matt white powder-coated aluminium (RAL 9003), hung from a curved arm below the track adapter. The fitting measures 11.9 cm across and 15.7 cm high, and the head rotates and tilts through a full 360°.
Fitting it to the TRACK rail
The adapter comes attached, so the spotlight clicks into a Lucide TRACK rail in one movement without tools. It comes off just as easily and can be moved along the rail whenever furniture or displayed objects are rearranged. The box holds one spotlight with its adapter — the rail, power feed and connectors of the TRACK range are bought separately. The fitting only works with the single-phase Lucide system, not with three-phase tracks or other brands' systems.
Which lamp it takes and how to dim it
The lampholder is GU10 in the ES111 format, meaning a wide reflector lamp about 11 cm in diameter running directly on 230 V — no transformer is needed. The maximum lamp wattage is 50 W. No lamp is included; Lucide pairs this fitting with its own ES111 LED lamp, article 49041/12/30, which drops from 3000 K to a warm 2200 K as it is dimmed.
The spotlight can be dimmed, but it needs two items bought separately: an external dimmer on the track circuit and a lamp sold as dimmable. The fitting itself has no electronics of its own. The IP20 rating means indoor use only.
Where it works
The moving head lets you aim the beam at one chosen point — a picture on the wall, a shelf, a kitchen worktop or the desk in a study — which is why it suits a living room, kitchen, office, study or shop. The plain, round form without ornament is a modern style. The same model is also made in black (09954/01/30).
