Lucide Trigono Ceiling Spotlight White Metal 2xGU10 09935/02/31

Lucide Trigono 09935/02/31 is a ceiling spotlight with two conical heads on an oval mounting bar, made of metal powder-coated in matt white. Each head rotates and tilts on its own, so the two light sources can point in two different directions.

Dimensions and installation

The fitting is 22.5 cm long and 10.5 cm wide — the diameter of each head — and projects 9.8 cm below the ceiling. It weighs 0.78 kg, and the fixing materials are included.

The fitting is protection class I, so it needs an earth conductor in the ceiling box, and it is intended for indoor use only.

Bulbs and light

Each head has a GU10 socket and takes a bulb of up to 50 W. Bulbs are not included, so you choose the light colour and brightness yourself; the manufacturer recommends a dimmable 5 W GU10 LED bulb at 3000 K (Lucide 49006/05/31), which is warm white.

The heads rotate and tilt through a full 360°, so one can be aimed at a picture or shelving and the other at a worktop or the doorway. The fitting can be dimmed, but that needs an external dimmer — not included — and bulbs marked as dimmable. It is switched from an ordinary wall switch.

Smooth cones without ornament and a uniform matt white make a modern form that all but disappears on a white ceiling. The fitting suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and kitchens, hallways and corridors, offices and studies, as well as hotels and restaurants — anywhere light needs to be directed at a particular spot.
