GEMINI is an outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular aluminium block in anthracite. The apertures, closed with clear glass, sit on the top and the bottom of the housing, so the fitting throws two beams — one onto the wall above it and one below.

How much light it gives, and in which direction

Lutec states 700 lm for the whole luminaire; the LED module alone is declared at 1000 lm, and the difference stays inside the housing. Those 700 lm split into two beams, so roughly half goes up and half down — this is accent lighting for a facade rather than a working light for a terrace.

4000 K is neutral, with no yellow cast, and a colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough to keep brick, timber or render at their own shade after dark. The clear glass does not diffuse the beam, so the wall shows two sharply cut patches of light rather than a soft glow. The fitting cannot be dimmed — the producer states that outright.

How much wall it takes

The block is 14 cm across and 6.5 cm high, and it stands 8.9 cm out from the wall. That last figure is the one to check beside a narrow passage or next to a door frame. The whole fitting weighs 0.575 kg.

Two screws and two plugs are in the box, and the holes are drilled with a 6 mm bit. Because both beams run along the wall, the mounting height decides how long the lit patches are — the higher it goes, the more they stretch.

Wiring and operating conditions

The fitting works in protection class I, so a protective earth conductor has to reach the box — without earthing the installation does not match the producer's documentation. It runs on a 220–240 V mains supply.

The IP54 rating means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, which covers an open facade with no shelter above it. Lutec gives an operating range of -20 to +50 °C. The LED module is built in permanently and is not user-replaceable; the declared energy efficiency class is F, at 11 kWh per 1000 hours.
