Lutec LUPS 6402801118 outdoor LED wall light, dark grey, 14 W IP54

Lutec LUPS 6402801118 is a dark grey outdoor wall light with a crescent-shaped illuminated opening inside a rectangular body. Its aluminium housing frames an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The curved luminous surface, rather than an exposed bulb, defines the front of the fitting.

A shallow fitting beside a walkway

The body measures 23 cm wide, 10.1 cm high and 4.8 cm deep. Check these measurements against the available wall area and the cable outlet before installation. Its shallow projection takes up less space beside a passage than a wall light on an extending arm, although clearance from opening doors and other obstacles still needs checking.

Lutec identifies pathways as the intended use. Wall mounting makes LUPS an option where an approach runs beside a facade or masonry boundary wall. A balcony or terrace likewise needs a suitable mounting surface and an electrical supply: this is not a freestanding garden post.

Compare the finished fitting, not just the module

The integrated LED provides warm white light at 3000 K, with a fitting power rating of 14 W. The complete luminaire delivers 450 lm. Use that output when comparing wall lights; the separately specified 1950 lm describes the LED module rather than the light leaving the assembled fitting. Plan the number and spacing for the actual path instead of assuming that one wall light will illuminate an entire garden.

LUPS is not dimmable. There is no screw-base bulb to select, but the manual reserves replacement of the LED light source for a professional. Energy efficiency class C applies to the contained light source.

Electrical connection and surface care

The fitting uses a 220–240 V mains supply. Its Class I construction requires an earth connection. IP54 provides limited protection against dust and protection against splashing water, not immersion. Installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Straight edges and a single curved opening suit a modern, minimalist facade. For coastal locations, Lutec recommends regular cleaning with a dry cloth without detergents because salt accelerates corrosion. The stated five-year warranty is subject to the conditions in the manual.
