Lutec SHRIMP 7622222012 is a black outdoor security floodlight with an integrated LED module. The manufacturer describes it as a security fixture, and its compact profile takes its cue from a bicycle lamp. The housing is aluminium, the clear diffuser is PC plastic, and the finish is matt black. The fixture measures 25.3 cm wide, 15.6 cm long and 14.5 cm high.

Light output and PIR detection

The integrated LED module uses 20 W and the fixture delivers 1700 lm. Its 4000 K neutral-white light is intended for clear illumination of entrances and circulation areas after dark. The PIR sensor detects movement across a 180° angle at a distance of up to 21 m. The manufacturer lists adjustment of lux level, time and detection distance, plus a dusk-to-dawn function.

Outdoor installation

An IP54 rating and a stated operating range from −20 to 50 °C support outdoor use. Subject to the installation conditions, the floodlight can be considered for a façade, above a door, on a terrace or balcony, or beside a driveway. It is a Class I fixture for 220–240 V mains supply. The LED is integrated into the fitting; the manufacturer does not list a separate bulb as included.

Plan the detection zone

SHRIMP combines a technical matt-black silhouette with automatic motion detection. Before installation, plan the mounting position, beam direction and sensing zone so that the required area is covered without directing light where it is not wanted. The manufacturer states a five-year operational warranty for this model.
