The MAHON LE46097 is a white LED pendant shaped as an open ring 85 cm in diameter, hung on thin wires beneath a round ceiling canopy. The body is aluminium, and a prismatic acrylic lens runs along the ring, diffusing the light and giving it a fine, sparkling pattern.

Size and hanging

The ring measures 85 cm across – a figure to compare with the length of your table or the clear space under the ceiling in a living room. The maker gives a maximum hanging height of 200 cm, measured from the ceiling to the ring. The ceiling canopy is 18 cm in diameter and 3.5 cm deep.

How much light it gives and how to dim it

The source is a built-in 43 W LED module delivering 2795 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. That output is enough for the pendant to be a room's main light rather than just a decoration. The module is included, so there are no bulbs to buy.

The light is phase-dimmable with a TRIAC dimmer. 0–10 V and DALI controls will not work with it, so check which dimmer your installation has, or which one you need to buy, before fitting it.
